Guttman’s College Algebra and Trigonometry courses, both MATH 120 and MATH 120.5, utilize the following OER textbook. This text is a customization of the OpenStax Algebra and Trigonometry by Jay Abramson (2020). I was not to one to customize the text.
I created a series of video lectures for College Algebra and Trigonometry in order to provide students with the entire course remotely. These have been used to teach online sections of the course as well as to supplement in-person instruction. In addition to the instructional videos, there are several videos dedicated to common errors or issues with entering answers into myopenmath.
I also created several amplify activities to guide and support student learning. Some of these activities can be used in either College Algebra or Precalculus. Other activities were designed to support students taking MATH120.5 College Algebra and Trigonometry with LAB.
